Events at Kindred 2022
Thinking of having your event with us? Read this below and see if Kindred is the right spot for you! We would love to celebrate your birthday, works do, Christmas party, 21st, baby shower, no matter what the event, we'd love to hear from you!

Venue Hire Fee.
The private hire of Kindred incurs a $500 venue hire fee, and a minimum spend of $1500 on any of our food, catering, bar tabs, cakes and cake-age and BYO catering fee.
For large events (over 50pax) a $60 cleaning fee is charged and depending on the event a security fee may be charged. If the minimum spend is not reached by the end of your event, Kindred reserves the right to charge the outstanding amount on invoicing.
We can host up to 85 guests standing or 40 seated.
Hours
For private events our space is available:
Wednesday-Sunday ~ 5pm - 11pm
Monday - Tuesday 7am-11pm (split into 2x 7 hour morning and afternoon sessions)
Please contact us for multiple day hire.
For evening functions You will have access by 4:30pm to decorate and set up your playlists, sounds system etc. (please note we may still be packing down and setting up at this time) You may begin your event from 5pm and must leave the premise by 11pm to comply with our liquor licensing. If you do not wish to hire the full venue, we are happy to accomodate your party in our dining room for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings which will also be open to the public.
Food
We have a range of catering options available for events including grazing tables, canapés or full menu (to be arranged). All of this will be included in minimum spend. Cakes are available to order from us. You are welcome to bring your own cake (cake-age nhj fee $20) or organise food outside of us (BYO fee $2 per person)
Responsibility of the Customer
You are expected to conduct the event in a legal and responsible manner, and are responsible for the conduct of all guests. You are responsible for, and will be charged for, any damage and/or theft that occurs on Kindreds premises.
Terms and conditions
When booking a function at Kindred, it is clear that you understand that booking does not entitle guests to close our day-time operations early, host guests who are intoxicated, accept guests who are rude to our staff, move or remove furniture and or artwork, incur breakages or breach the acceptable noise levels, compromise our responsibilities in the sale and supply of Liquor Act (in particular serving minors) or stay beyond the agreed times.
In the event that major damage occurs, effecting Kindreds ability to operate the following day you will be liable to pay for any lost revenue, extra cleaning fees or significant breakages. In some instances we will require security which we will arrange and add to the invoice to be payable by you. We reserve the right to deny any guest access at any time. Arriving intoxicated, using drugs on premise, engaging in in illicit behaviour, bringing alcohol from outside or wilfully causing damage to property will not be tolerated.
